Hi Raz,

I have a c115 as well and I use the option -i 10 to load layer1.
Anyway, with one of my cables I had problems at the beginning, until I
realized that the plastic around the jack was impeding
the jack from being properly plugged in. I cut it off and now it works.

regards,
Loretta

I have a c115 as well and I use the option -i 10 to load layer1.
This option doesn't have any influence on the Compal ramloader code, it
is only used for setting the beacon interval in the Calypso/MTK
romloader mode.

Maybe your machine is too slow, but you could try this:

http://lists.osmocom.org/pipermail/baseband-devel/2011-February/001407.html

I'm not sure if the patch still applies correctly though.

If that doesn't work, here's another thing to try:

Hi,

As I mailed before I also have a non working C115, but I have 3 working
so I have something to compare. I suspect a hardware problem on my side,
but I tried your tips

No it doesn't but I compiled it and it did not help me.

Tried that too without result.

I also confirmed by breaking the TX line to the phone (from the PC) that
this error (FTMTOOL error) then also happens. So it can also be caused
by a faulty cable, faulty connector or blown UART pin on the Calypso.

Yes, in your case I'd say the RX line of your third phone is somehow
broken as well.
